BEP has Mobile Apps

By Alicia Waters | July 31, 2015

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) has currency identification mobile apps developed on the iOS and Android platforms. EyeNote version 2.0 developed by BEP was built on the Apple iOS platform and is downloadable from the Apple App Store. This app utilizes VoiceOver. IDEAL Currency Identifier developed by the Dept of Education in collaboration with BEP operates on the Android platform and is downloadable from Google Play. This app uses text-to-speech voice. Both apps are free and can be used on personal mobile devices such as those used to download BARD books and magazines. BEP also offers the currency reader as an another alternative. It does not require a mobile device for use. Contact BEP for more information.
