The Route One Reads initiative is a partnership between 16 affiliate “Centers for the Book” to promote books that illuminate important aspects of their state or commonwealths for readers. In Rhode Island, we have our own affiliate the Rhode Island Center for the Book to select books. Rhode Island’s 2017 book is listed first along with five other states.
