NLS Music Notes Blog

It is with great pleasure that I tell you about a new blog, NLS Music Notes. On May 15, 2014, this blog debuted with the post, “Welcome to the NLS Musc Notes Blog.” The post says this “blog will highlight the Music Section work in acquiring, cataloging, transcribing and preserving of collections as well as information about them. As a full service collection, the Music Section will post features of NLS Music Section resources for beginning music students as well as materials for those more advanced in all instruments. The Music Section offers all types of music  scores, books and magazines. The blog will also feature musicians, aspiring musician, music students, and all those who embrace music.” Find in the inaugural post links to 2 great performance clips.

The NLS Music Section has the largest collection of music braille in the world. The music collection includes large print and audio as well as braille.
