BACKGROUND

The enclosed report compiled monthly by NLS combines information taken from the bestseller lists of the Los Angeles Times, the New York Times, and the Washington Post.

Bestsellers are included in the report when they appear on one of the above bestseller lists for a month or more.

Once a title appears in the report with an NLS book number, it will not appear on future reports.

Local Talking Book Club at INSIGHT

Besides the Accessible World online talking book discussions sponsored by  Helping Hands for the Blind that are posted regularly on this blog, RI Talking Books Plus (TBP) adult members may join a local talking book club.

INSIGHT offers a local monthly book discussion in Warwick, RI. The books selected from the RI TBP collection may be downloaded or mailed to qualified TBP members. To download titles, TBP members must be approved for BARD.

Visit the TBP website for more information on how to join TBP or BARD. To request an INSIGHT Book Club title by mail,  email (olis.tbplus@olis.ri.gov) or call (401-574-9310.) TBP staff are available to answer calls between 8:30 am and 4:00 pm Monday through Friday.
