Braille Summit Today

The National Library Service for the Blind and Physically Handicapped (NLS) and the Perkins School for the Blind has organized a Braille Summit. For those who had not signed up for the gathering, the audio and video panel presentations will be streamed over the Internet. The web address for the live stream is www.perkins.org/braillesummit. The conference is streaming today and tomorrow: Thursday, June 20, 2013 11:10 am – 12:30 pm and Friday, June 21, 2013 8:30-10:00 am and 2:45-4:30 pm. The conference email address is braillesummit@gmail.com. This address will be monitored during the conference. Questions and comments received through this means will be incorporated into the discussion as time permits. Social media for this event will be handled primarily through Twitter. Follow @BrailleSummit for information and for links to event photos posted on Twitpic. Retweeting and sharing to other social media venues is encouraged. The event hashtag is #NLSBRAILLE.
