On Monday, August 25, 2014 at 8pm, Jerry Berrier  from Perkins School for the Blind’s will host and discuss iCanConnect through TekTalk , an Accessible World event. The goal of this National Deaf-Blind Equipment Distribution Program (NDBEDP), iCanConnect, is to enable low-income individuals who are deaf /blind to access 21st Century communications services.  This program is designed to ensure that qualified individuals have access to the Internet, and advanced communications, including interexchange services and advanced telecommunications and information services. It is administered by the Federal Communications Commission (FCC).

This program may help eligibile Talking Books Plus (TBP) members acquire the tools they need to download TBP books and enjoy TBP services to the fullest extent. Learn more about downloading books through BARD,  a TBP service. Please help us spread the word about iCanConnect to eligible TBP members who have no access to the Internet.
