National System down over weekend

All Library of Congress data systems and websites will be offline for equipÂment maintenance from 5:00 p.m. EDT, Friday, August 28, 2015, through 8:00 a.m. EDT, Monday, August 31, 2015. NLS (National Library Services for the Blind and Physically Handicapped) services to the public affected include:
- Braille and Audio Reading Download (BARD)
- BARD mobile (downloading and browsing of books and magazines only)
- Braille certification
- NLS home page at loc.gov/nls
