Best Android Apps for People with Low Vision
By Alicia Waters | February 25, 2016
Shelly Brisbin wrote the article, Best Android Apps for People with Low Vision. She says the focus of her article is on apps that support a low-vision Android user experience. In the future, some of the individual apps featured in Shelly’s article will be highlighted one at a time on the Talking Books Plus blog. In her article, Shelly says there are apps that turn the camera on Android devices into an electronic magnifier, a scanner, or an object and color identifier. Shelly says that the scanning and identification apps accessible with TalkBack are a great choice for those with complete vision loss.
Talking Books Plus members are eligible to download talking books and Web-Braille with the BARD Mobile App for Android Devices.
