Teen Read Week
By Alicia Waters | October 21, 2009
Teen Read Week 2009 will be celebrated Oct. 18-24 in thousands of public and school libraries, classrooms, and bookstores across the country! This year’s theme is Read Beyond Reality @ your library, which encourages teens to read something out of this world, just for the fun of it. This is a national literacy initiative of the Young Adult Library Services Association (YALSA). Below are some YALSA: 2009 Teen Nominations that are all downloadable now through the BARD program at Talking Books Plus.
