Rhode Island Special Needs Emergency Registry

By Alicia Waters | May 31, 2017

Be prepared for any emergency that may come your way. The Rhode Island Department of Health (RIDOH) and the Rhode Island Emergency Management Agency (RIEMA) have developed this registry as a service to Rhode Islanders with chronic conditions, disabilities, and other special healthcare needs. It is a system for the identification of Rhode Islanders who may require assistance during statewide emergencies such as a hurricane or a winter blizzard. There is an easy enrollment process by completing an online form or submitting a mail-in form. To complete the digital form select Online and click the “Enroll Now” button. To receive a printed form mailed to you, call 401-222-5960/RI Relay 711. Don’t wait, do it now, and be prepared.

Can Libraries have a copies to hand out to the public? Or one printed version so we can make copies to hand out?
    Thanks!

    Hi Jana,

We don’t have any hard copies, but you can print one or many from the link provided and make copies from that. If that doesn’t work, I would call the RI Emergency Management Agency and ask them for copies.
