VA Providence Providing COVID19 Vaccinations
By Alicia Waters | January 7, 2021
The VA Providence Healthcare System began providing COVID-19 vaccinations for Veteran patients yesterday, Jan. 6, 2020. They have a regular supply of vaccine arriving and anticipate this to continue.
The VA has a dedicated team that is actively contacting patients who are at highest risk of severe illness from COVID-19 to schedule their vaccination appointments. They look forward to offering free COVID-19 vaccination to all enrolled Veterans who want it as soon as sufficient supply is available.
The VA will contact Veterans directly to schedule their COVID-19 vaccination appointments.
Please feel free to share with your fellow Veterans.
For Veterans who haven’t enrolled, now is an excellent time to enroll in VA Health Care! You can apply online or call a VA Providence enrollment specialist at 401-273-7100 ext. 12496 today!
