On March 1st, the Mackin Books in Bloom blog went live. Launched by Mackin Educational Resources, the blog  features selected books for K-12. In the blog, Librarian bloggers explain what makes each selected book high quality and why students are likely to enjoy the book. Each month, the blog aims to cover each school level fairly evenly. Three of the 13 titles in the Books in Bloom blog bibliograhpy, entitled Picture Books on Grief and Loss, are in either the Learning Ally (formerly RFB&D), Bookshare or Talking Books Plus (TBP) collection.
