Accessible Textbook Options for Blind or Visually Impaired
By Alicia Waters | September 14, 2018
The Talking Books Library staff have received calls from members looking for textbooks in accessible formats. The Louis Database from the American Printing House for the Blind is a great place to search for the material you need. This database will allow you to search for titles in specific formats (Braille, Large Print, Sound and E-files).
There is also a lot of great information and links to providers of accessible textbooks on the web at AccessWorld Magazine. Access World Magazine is a free publication from the American Foundation for the Blind.
